Developers:
Aesthetics and Added Value
Ponds,
lakes, water features, open spaces, trails, and recreational fields
are emerging in planned developments all around the country. These
shared facilities increase a community's value and when well planned
and installed, simply get better with time.

Water Containment
Many factors have resulted in a much greater use of geomembrane
liners:
Fire
Ponds
Irrigation
Run-off Channeling
Irrigation
Storage
We
offer a full range of lining products, we can fabricate to your
exact needs, and install your project.

In many
cases, the soil on a site is not suitable to hold water. In other
areas, environmental concerns dictate that steps be taken to ensure
that drainage water does not make contact with underground water
sources.

Stabilization
CLI carries a complete line of geosynthetics for all types of stabilization
needs:
|
|
Bank
Protection: Clean water lagoons and stormwater detention basins
often exhibit fluctuating water levels. As the elevation rises and
falls, reinforced vegetation will resist hydraulic forces during
drawdown. The use of turf reinforcement mats provide permanent soil
stabilization and root reinforcement to resist erosion and enhance
water quality.
Slope
Protection: When unprotected, even "stable" slopes
are subject to erosion from raindrop impact and runoff. The use
of turf reinforcement mats on challenging slopes provide short-term
protection and long-term reinforcement of the vegetation. In areas
exceeding the performance limits of temporary degradable products
(such as open weave geotextiles and erosion blankets) a turf reinforcement
mat is an economical alternative to the placement of rock riprap
or concrete slope paving.
Channel
Lining: In open channels and drainage ditches where high water
velocities or shear forces are expected, turf reinforcement mats
and native vegetation create environmentally superior lining systems.
The result is a more aesthetically pleasing, cost effective, flexible
design which controls erosion, captures sediment, filters contaminants,
increases infiltration, recharges groundwater, decreases runoff,
and improves wildlife habitat.
