CLI
offers a complete range of geosynthetic products, complimented by
a professional, well-trained team dedicated to problem solving in
different applications.
We
fabricate, distribute and install the most reliable and widely used
high-performance lining systems in the world. We back every product
with QC assurance that it meets the most stringent criteria in the
industry.
What
are geosynthetics?
Geosynthetics is a general classification representing all man-made
materials used in geotechnical engineering applications.
Many
of its products are engineered to meet specific design requirements
in fluid barrier systems or are designed to enhance the properties
of existing soils (physical, hydraulic or mechanical).
Geosynthetics
are a smart alternative:
The
value of these products lies in their ability to partially or completely
replace [non-renewing] natural resources such as gravel, sand, bentonite
clay and do so at a much lower cost.
The
technical advantages lie in the engineered, testable, quality monitored
properties of geosynthetic productsversus the often difficult to
verify quality and specs of naturally occuring materials. Different
geosynthetic materials can be combined in order to perform desired
functions, often yielding higher "rates" than the components
taken separately.
Geomembrane
Lining Systems:
Once known as "flexible membrane liners", geomembranes
encompass a broad group of products with distinctive properties
and advantages in use as liners for ponds, tanks, leach pads, reservoirs,
lagoons, barriers, caps, secondary containment application
use is bounded only by the imagination.

The
Myth of the Small Footprint.
Access roads, tailings ponds, landfill dumps, industrial by-product
storage tanks, livestock manure, hazardous materials - all
the facets of modern commerce - affect land, air, water, wildlife
and wilderness. Misuse can wreak havoc on watersheds, aquatic
ecosystems and the soils that sustains us all.
Geosynthetics
offer an unprecedented opportunity to revise out-dated practices,
quelch our reliance on non-renewable natural materials while
offering standardized alternatives for a wide variety of land
and water uses.
There
is no other single group of construction products that have
experienced a growth pattern close to the geosynthetics industry,
and all for good reason - the improvement in performance,
maintenance and life of a project or business, without sacrificing
the earth to do it.
