Geotex
Tubes are primarily used to dewater sludge and biological waste. These
tubes are manufactured in 3 types:
High
Strength Polyester Tubes
The polyester tubes are almost completely resilient to overpumping
and rupture. This material offers a more thorough drying over a longer
period of time and is available in 15-foot or 30-foot circumferences
and from 50-330 linear feet.
High
Strength Polypropylene Tubes
The high strength polypropylene tubes are black and use solar hear
for surface drying, thus making them less expensive. This material
is available in 15-foot or 30-foot circumferences and from 50-330
linear feet.
Open
Weave Polypropylene Tubes
Open weave tubes, made out of trampoline fabric, are useful for greasy
or large-grained solids and offer larger open area for dewatering
of wastes. These tubes are filled by gravity instead of pumping. The
open weave tubes are available in 12, 15, 24, or 30-foot circumferences
and from 50-330 linear feet.
