  COOLGUARD™ URETHANES:

Coolguard™ Urethane is a primary and secondary containment geomembrane that is a scrim reinforced tripolymer alloy formulated with Dupont Elvaloy® KEE. It is used in the containment of liquids, sludges and certain chemically aggressive gases.

Available in 36 mil and 45 mil in panels up to 1/2 acre in size
Withstands a broad range of harsh weather with little or no deteriortation of physical properties.
Withstands hydrocarbons and other chemicals with little or no deteriortation of physical properties.
    Superior creep resistance.
Cost-effective alternative to double-walled tanks and concrete liners due to lower initial and operating costs.

USES:   Consider Coolguard for:
    airport de-icing collection systems.
    fueling station secondary containment.
    tank farms.
    wash-down facilities.
secondary containment of gasoline, crude oil, fuel oils, aviation fuels, diesel, kerosene, refinery wastes, alcohols, glycols and many other substances.
    digesters..
DESIGN
NOTES:
Coolguard can be thermally or dielectrically seam welded.
Coolguard is relatively easily repaired with a hand held seam heat gun and seam roller.

*a complete Chemical Resistance Guideline with over 200 chemicals is available upon request.

*It is advised that you also consider other requirements such as, but not limited to:

service temperature.
concentration (strength or dilution of the chemical).
size to be contained.
time of exposure.

for a specific application. A sample of material should be tested in actual service before application. When impractical, tests should be devised which simulate actual service conditions as closely as possible.
